This is going to be one of the biggest guides that I’ve published. I have started working on this article on 2/4/25. I will write a section every day till I am finished with the complete guide of Fortnite.
Part 1: Different Fortnite Bosses Via Chapter 6 Season 1
There are currently 2 bosses in Fortnite. The first boss is known as The Night Rose. The second boss is the Shogun X boss. Shogun X usually goes and randomly spawns around the map for the first three zones. (I will explain zones later).
The first boss is the Night Rose boss.

The Night Rose Boss drops three things. The first is the Night Rose Medallion. (A medallion is a coin that gives powers). The Night Rose Medallion stops you from needing to reload, and saves you a lot of time in fights. The next drop is a Yield Rose Precision SMG. (I will also explain the Yield Rose Precision SMG later, but basically, this gun is a SMG). The next drop is Night Rose’s Void Oni Mask, which can be used to move throughout the Fortnite map quickly through teleportation. It may seem hard to kill the Night Rose Boss. You must shoot the puppeteer’s eye (shown in the photo above). When the Night Rose stops hanging on the puppeteer, you need to shoot Night Rose. Keep repeating this until the Night Rose boss is dead. The loot is worth it.
The next boss is the Shogun X Boss.

Just shoot at Shogun X when attacking him and try to avoid his powerful attacks. You can’t kill Shogun X unless you’re in Shogun’s Arena. If you’re not in Shogun’s Arena, you can win the battle once Shogun X is at 25% of his original health. If you are in Shoguns Arena, winning will be harder, and there will be a higher chance of third parties (players who come in and fight someone who just fought). If the Shogun X boss isn’t in Shogun’s Arena, Shogun will drop a random Enhanced weapon. The Sentinel Pump Shotgun, in my opinion, is overpowered because it can kill enemies in 1 hit! If you are on Shogun’s Arena, he will drop a mythic fire mask (explained later), a mythic typhoon blade (I think the name speaks for itself). You will also get a medallion (described before). The power-up with this medallion makes you invisible if you run (otherwise called a sprint).
Part 2: Shotgun Guide
In Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 1, there are only 3 shotguns to choose from: The Oni Shotgun, the Sentinel Pump Shotgun, and the Twinfire Auto Shotgun. Which shotgun is the best?
The best shotgun is definitely the Sentinel Pump, dealing the most damage. The sentinel pump also has a magazine size of 5. A headshot with a common sentinel shotgun can max at around 170 hp. A uncommon sentinel shotgun hits a max of 175 hp, and a rare sentinel shotgun hits for a max of 180 hp. The epic variant of the sentinel shotgun hits 190 hp, and the legendary version hits a max of 195 damage. Also, the mythic variant of the sentinel shotgun hits for a max of 205. This mythic variant can be obtained when killing the Shogun boss. (It cannot be obtained from the Shogun boss located on Shogun’s arena). Also, there is about a 10-20% chance of getting the mythic variant from the boss, otherwise you might get different mythics.

The second best shotgun is the Oni Shotgun. Again, the mythic variant can be obtained the same way that the sentinel pump can be obtained. The oni’s magazine size is 2. In action, the common version of the oni shotgun deals 130 hp, and the uncommon deals 135 hp. The rare variant of the oni deals 140 hp, while the epic hits 145 hp. Lastly, the legendary hits 150 hp. (This is the max headshot damage). The oni hits fast too.

The worst shotgun is the twinfire shotgun. It is like a Maven Auto Shotgun but deals less damage and reloads way slower. Overall, I feel like the sentinel pump shotgun is the best shotgun, for zero build and builds. The Oni Shotgun is pretty good still. Remember, although the Oni Shotgun shoots faster than the sentinel shotgun, it still isn’t as good. Even if you have an epic oni shotgun, you should probably drop it for a gray sentinel shotgun, for even a common sentinel hits for more than an epic Oni Shotgun.

Part 3: Best Map Locations
In fortnite, going into your first battle royale match might feel a little intimidating. Here are the best map locations for Fortnite Battle Royale. In Fortnite Battle Royale, there are tons of secret vaults and overpowered chests that you need to know about. Landing spots really matter as good loot can give you a good chance to win. First, in order to see the map on keyboard, first load into your battle royale match. Press the “M” key on your keyboard. If your on a xbox controller, look at the image below. Using the diagram, use the button “3”.

On PS controller, press the PS trackpad. Once accessing the map, look at the North West of the map. Press space on your keyboard, once your on the battle bus. For Xbox, press the “a” button. For PS controller, use the “x” button. (Image below of the area on the map).

Once you land at this area, you will see a giant turtle. Loot chests in the area. In endgame, you can easily see other players and attack them.
The next best spot to drop is Shogun’s Solitude. It is mostly uncontested but has plenty of loot to offer. It is at the southwest of the map. (Shown on the photo below).

It is a amazing place that is great for starters looking for an easy drop. Loot quickly though, because storm probably comes really quickly.
Part 4: Elemental Chests
In Fortnite Chapter 6, a new type of chests was released called Elemental Chests. These chests provide great loot. Since boons and void masks really matter this season, Elemental Chests are key. Most POI’s have one Elemental Chest while some others offer more. I would recommend Nightshift Forest. It has a whopping 6 Elemental Chests. (The bushranger offers a key to a vault with Elemental Chests). There are also slurp barrels and a typhoon blade stand as well. Go to the sides of the map, since Elemental Chests are mostly going to be uncontested there. Elemental Chests are meta this season, so it is important to find your strategy on them. The picture below shows the locations of the Elemental Chests.

Part 5: Slurp Barrels
Slurp Barrels are important in Fortnite. When you are low and need heals, finding and using slurp barrels are important. In stacked endgame lobbies, such as tournaments, it is important to save heals. Slurp barrels can be therefore used to heal.
Slurp Barrels Information:
- Can be used as a healing source
- Heals +10 shield or health per slurp barrel
- Can be found in groups of 1-6
- Aren’t hard to find throughout the map
- Give metal if you aren’t playing zero build
- Have been in the game for pretty long
